Our next holiday is: Spring Festival (The New Year)!
This
culture celebrates the new year from the first day of the years' full
moon, then ends 15 days later on the next full moon. It is celebrated
as a time of family affair, reuinion and giving thanks. This holiday
also celebrates the passing of ancestors, and is acknowledged on this
day by arranging a dinner for them at the family banquet table. There
is something to be remembered or done on each of the days leading up to
the 15th, where the Lantern Festival is held.
